Deadpool & Wolverine’s post-credits scene is worth staying for – here’s why

Deadpool & Wolverine has finally arrived in cinemas, marking the first time the two characters have entered the Marvel cinematic universe.
The film sees Wolverine recuperating from his injuries when he meets Deadpool, with the two pairing up in efforts to defeat their shared enemy. On the Empire Film Podcast Jackman explained the premise for the film, saying “[Wolverine is] frustrated by [Deadpool], wants to be a million miles away from him or wants to punch him in the head. Unfortunately, he can’t be a million miles away from him in this movie, so I’m probably going to punch him in the head a lot.”
Sounds like the perfect pairing for a blissfully chaotic film to us, though by the time you’re reading this you’ve no doubt watched it all play out for yourself.
So will there be a Deadpool 3 post-credits scene?
One thing you can always rely on the MCU for is a solid end credits scene full of fan service, with the Deadpool & Wolverine post-credits scene being no different. Beloved for his signature sarcastic (if at times a little obnoxious) humour, we’d argue Deadpool is perhaps the perfect candidate for a memorable one, so here’s what to know about what you can expect from the Deadpool & Wolverine‘s post-credits scenes.

Is there a Deadpool & Wolverine post-credits scene?
Fans will be pleased to learn that there is in fact a Deadpool & Wolverine post-credits scene, though just the one.
The best part of the credits sees a montage of behind-the-scenes footage across several Fox Marvel films, including X-Men Origins: Wolverine where Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds first teamed up.
Fittingly, it’s soundtracked to Green Day’s ‘Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)’ which is a certified hit anyway so well worth enjoying even if you don’t plan on staying for the Deadpool 3 post-credits scene.
